Jim Rickey는 현재 Sportswear fashion을 개척한 강력한 브랜드 중 하나로 잘 알려져 있지만, 그들의 시작은 미약했다.

본래 서로 다른 스니커즈 브랜드의 판매원으로 일하며 같은 꿈을 공유하던 두 명의 친구는 마침내 Jim Rickey라는 핸드메이드 스니커즈를 제작하는 그들만의 사업을 시작하게 된다.

오늘날  그들의 브랜드는  Sportswear  fashion산업의 개척자로서, 두 명의 창립자(Henrik Standerth and Patrik Lakso)의 지휘 아래 언더그라운드 미술가, 음악가들과 창의적인 공동 작업을 진행하며 브랜드의 지위를 확고히 하고 있다.

Jim Rickey는 Paris, Stockholm, Milano, Berlin, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Amsterdam, Seoul, Tokyo에서 큰 브랜드로 성장하며, 전 세계적으로도 알려지고 있다.

Today their brand has established itself as a pioneer in sportswear fashion and creative collaboration with downtown artists and musicians under the direction of the two original founders Henrik Standerth and Patrik Lakso.

In the years that have followed Jim Rickey has transformed into a serious runner-up to all the BIG brands out there, with operations in Paris, Stockholm, Milano, Berlin, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Amsterdam, Seoul, Tokyo, and has become home to some of the most talented peoples from around the globe

2006년 창립 이후, Jim Rickey는 Scandinavian 스니커즈 문화를 바탕으로 한 감각적인 스타일로 스니커즈 애호가들에게  다가가고 있다.

Jim Rickey는 강력한 파트너쉽과 개인의 창의력을 바탕으로 제작된다. Jim Rickey의 창업자인 두 스웨덴 남자는 NIKE의 창업자인 Bill Bowerman, Phil Knight 과 같은 방식으로 그들의 사업을 시작했다. 그들은 일본 브랜드인 Asics의 Onitsuka Tiger의 판매원으로서 일했지만, 더 나은 브랜드를 만들겠다는 의지가 강했기 때문에, 직장을 그만두고 그들만의 사업을 시작하게 된다.
